the whole reason that renji left their house was so he could be with haru and he even wrote a letter explaining why he was going and why he couldn’t contact haru (basically bound by contract) and eiji not only didn’t deliver the letter but also lied to haru about why his brother left and basically manipulated him into depending on him emotionally
he’s the one who’s got the key to harus collar bc he gave it to him, asked him to be his, and yet won’t treasure him properly or fight to be with him like his brother did

emotionally manipulating someone you "love" isnt being a nice guy djkjsdhd
manipulating someone you love is being cowardly because you can't afford to let him go because you have no other way to let him stay.. its being a coward.. being a nice guy is totally different

how can you be a nice guy when you obviously put your own selfish desire before some else's need ? This is not love, this is too egotistical to be love :/ ad this is not nice at all. I get your point that the person might not be bad, as a whole, but toward the person he is supposed to live : how is it that he is not good ?
I mean, ok, he does not fight fair and square, and he's a coward, that's one thing, but he has someone else and he can't choose, that is seriously too much.

guys please dont hate so much on eiji.. though im glad that haru and eiji's relationship didn't work, not because of eiji two timing him with the childhood friend but because their relationship weren't healthy, and i am really glad that Eiji showed his genuine and real feeling to haru even though they didn't end up together, there was even this scene when haru walked out during a conversation with eiji or when haru saw eiji (can't really explain it in details) and then eiji ran to him even though he got blocked or stopped by his childhood friend, so please hating on eiji because eiji is a nice guy (but a terrible lover)
