im so sad about this. s/he said something about income. do they not have Patreon or something like that where we can pay them directly without it needing to be shared with a company?
Well, from what I understand Patreon is kinda like a self-support (might also not; just an online org. for people who would like to publish their own comics/mangas or anything). But Xia Da is under a publishing company which is somewhat a bigger deal than Patreon, so in regards to the income I don't personally think there is a problem. It's just the rights battle to the property/owner of the manhwa she made. She can;t continue it since the legal court battle is still on-going.

Give or take 5-10 YEARS MAX until this one gets back on track. You can't really expect the legal rights battle to be settled as easily as 1 year. What with Xia Da's complications too when she signed the contract with summer-bastars-something studio.
I just hope I'll live to see the day this gets completed, and wish for Xia Da's utmost success.
