Does anyone know if there is a reason why only a few Japanese Webtoons get translated?

i see plenty of seinen j-webtoons tho but it's got to do with how i am a fan of it...
other than the lack of BL j-webtoons, what is trending in japan RN is light novels so instead of the latter. comiket is still very much popular in japan among fujoshis so OFC there are way more BL mangas over there instead of webcomics.
In a nutshell, it's depends on the trend.
