I do feel bad for her

Feeling bad for her doesn't mean that I don't think that she brought this upon herself. I mean, she probably gonna die and it will clearly be a painful death. If she had been brought up differently then she might have turned out differently. That's sad.

Still, I just can't hold it against Eyama for wanting to hurt her. You victimize someone and that's bound to happen. I don't see a good ending for her and I don't want one. She's not sorry for what she's done. She recognized that it was her own actions that have brought her to this point and so she regrets that. But she's not really thinking about how she hurt others.

They are both victims who turned tormentors. She was broken by her father's "selling" her to rapists. He was broken by her (a friend) tormenting him with ceaseless bullying. But I still sympathize more with him, because she was tortured by strangers and a father she already knew was worthless. He was tortured by a person he liked and trusted.

If the leader of this lab turns out to have orchestrated their situations on purpose (all the suffering in all the labs), they need to band together and take them down. That might actually help heal them both, since both are victims and both are tormentors.

But her victimizing innocent persons vs him victimizing his tormentor is what really changes the lens that we view them from.

Absolutely. She had NO sensible reason to torment him. Wanting him to be "stronger" is amazingly weird and lame. BUT..since she's "broken," to her it made sense.
