I don't think he realized it was his former love until the last panel, where he looks surprised. I think he thought he was a person "like" his young love--gentle, kind, shy. And that's why he was attracted. But finally, I think he put it together and realized. :)
So, I don't think he was being mean. He was being clueless.
I kinda agree.
"and as expected, we might never meet again." hmm that sentence kinda annoyed me. he just found, what i assume, was his 1st love, had sex with him and then opened the door for him and was gonna just let him leave like that? without even trying to ask him to meet up again...
dont get me wrong, the story was good, art was pretty but im left with a feeling that the uke is in a different place than seme and alone is chasing after the other boy (or has been all this time)
