I think the reason why some people are saying it's boring is because these stories are more about how the characters meet and begin a relationship rather than the smexy stuff that happens in one. Personally I love the uncle story. I love how the story is told through the unsent texts and the heartbreaking subtle hints like the old phone that the uncle holds on to just in case.
