That guy said that when someone gets killed or kill themselves they get a power and their memory is wiped off aside from their death. Both the protagonist and the precious boy (I'm really bad with names, sorry) remember their lives, tho. I think the protagonist kept her memories because, you know, main character = special (we can see that from the way that other feet reacted to her self healing power), and the precious boy probably died when he was very little and he kinda grew up like that, so he made his memories when he was already dead. I don't know if this makes sense. I'm also not good with English because it's not my first language, so I apologize if I wrote weird
