emmm i think your forgetting that ukes mum is the mls mum's murderer. And that the ml has severe mental health issues as an orphan who believed his mum committed suicide so he's developed an obsessive personality out of fear that those he loves will leave him. And the ukes involvement has only made his mental health worse. not saying ml is right just that the uke isnt innocent either.
He literally just found out about it at the end of season 1.
