I havent finished reading but oh boy the uke being in his own little cute bubble and learning stuff the hard way kind of made me tear up. He's so innocent so watching his self confidence and innocence crumble was painful. At first I thought it was weird he keeps complimenting himself cute but it was the whole point. Tbh nothing wrong perceiving yourself as cute or pretty as long as you don't shove it down everybodys throat, people should just stop being mean.
