I’m glad you said this because so many people were completely unsympathetic to Sohan, and blaming him and saying he did it to himself. Sometimes, as humans, we delude ourselves into hoping for things even if we know deep down it’ll never happen. I can’t blame him for that, and it’s totally fair that it disappointed and hurt him as much as it did. It’s easy for us to hate his dad bc we’re seeing it from an outside perspective y’know. We know exactly what the dad is like and have no former attachments to him, and Sohan sees the version his dad wants him to see (still bad, but also one who “loves” Sohan, something Sohan is desperate for).
Anyways, yeah his dad totally needs an express ticket to the afterlife so he can never come back and hurt Sohan again (▰˘◡˘▰)
Ugh I feel so bad for sohan, I'm sure he knew this was coming and that he would be disappointed again, but I won't blame him for still hoping and wanting to be with his father and expecting things to be better this time, it's so human after all.
On the other note, I hope the father gets run down by a bus, I hope the bus reverses and runs over him again just to be sure. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
