Well actually I'm pretty sure they have Korean names in the original (I think Skylar's is Ha-neul meaning 'sky') but they were changed with the English translation for some reason.
i always yap abt this but their names are actually different in every translation and in every translation their names mean sky and cloud (in kr cirrus' name is hyunwoon which means cloud). this happens to show the connection between the characters more

Can I ask how you know 현운 means cloud because I just looked at a few Korean name meaning pages and for some reason all names are there except 현운
Also cloud seems to be 구름 (gu-reum) in Korean.
So I did some further searching in Korean and 현운 seems to have multiple definitions, one being "black cloud" and another having to do with water and another having to do with dizziness (Note: I'm not fluent in Korean). I assume 현운 meaning black cloud is meant to be the meaning of Cirrus's Korean name but when I searched up cirrus clouds it seems they are rather white most of the time since they are made of ice crystals so I'm not sure. I'm probs overthinking this though but that's why I wanted to ask how you know
현운 (hyunwoon) means 'virtuous cloud' or 'wise cloud' when written in hanja (chinese characters)
