Ngl I thought mc would actually be successful in his own way to leave the prison but unfortunately they took the tragic/bittersweet route.
Never mind the open ending where mc and the dark toned guy end up together alone in space, the red head’s ending was TOO SAD, and I’m saying this as someone who thought he was so cute. From the start, mc said he loved/liked the red head to his face, though I don’t believe it was true. He likes the dark toned guy but was mad at him and instead distracted himself with red head. Red head, didn’t know much about love but could clearly see that he liked mc. Red head likely didn’t understand that mc didn’t truly love him. Their relationship was pretty short and only consisted of a sexual scene and being friends before that.
Moving onto the red head’s ending, the way he ended up was basically indirectly caused by the mc. MC wanted to get out so badly, he ended up in a dangerous situation despite the dark toned guy warning him and telling him not to. Of course mc got in the worst situation and so red head and dark toned guy went to save him. In the process, red head got a fatal injury. They might have been able to save him if it weren’t for the fact that they lacked the medical supplies in the infirmary. Realizing that it was actually mc’s fault because the other doctor previously said he’s using too much of the medical supplies to make drugs for the deal to get out of prison. MC was too stubborn and said it was fine. So the lack of medical supplies was all mc’s fault, not having it when they actually needed it.
