It’s mostly for me at least, that what his actions are in response to the rumors, like punishing her and saying words of abuse to her because of what the rumors say( I.e her sleeping w diff men, being a spy and not being good at her job). You are right how it isn’t wrong to believe rumors, but it was simply how far he took to believing the rumors so easily is what get people
Yeah, basically vilifying her. I get that. And I also get that he does that because his ego was hurt as he was actually looking forward to marrying her and thought she was trying to sneak into his family. I was cheering for her to follow her path as well.
Anyway, one of the reasons I was still confused is why people are still going on about that as the story is progressing. It’s like they’re stuck there even though the man has been trying to mentally move past the mental image he had of her for the past 5 chapters or so. I guess I just wish the comments were about what was happening in the story instead of the same ones going in circles since chapter 1 was uploaded.
i think that people are mad simply because the male lead isnt someone who froths at the sight of the fl and fell inlove at first sight and is basically nothing but some fanatic for the fl, which is basically most mls in shoujo manhwas
Lol looks like I’m the only one who doesn’t hate the ML. I see a lot of hate comments about someone being led astray due to misunderstandings. One would think this is the world ML you’ve ever seen. He should listen to her, yes, but believing in rumors isn’t a crime.
Sure, it means he’s not good enough to be with her yet, but the man is actively learning from his mistakes and sadly resenting her for being faced with the fact that her presence makes him feel bad about himself. While also developing a crush on her. I still don’t really see how that makes him so hateful.
