I miss the old Morris :((

Boooo I hate how Morris is now acting as one of those “nice guy” characters who thinks because he is “nice” to Sigrid he “deserves” anything from her. It sucks because his character was so cool before and was a good friend to her. I truly thought the author was going to keep him as a nice confidant who learns to let Sigrid go and support her unconditionally.

Now he’s morphed into some jealous and one sided competitive guy. Every comment he makes now is so underhanded and manipulative to compare that he is the better guy. “I would never make you cry like he does” “but I was here first” what are you a child??? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Hearing his inner dialogue that he says “I am a good guy because Sigrid told me I am” says so much of his personality and how he justifies he’s recent thought process and actions. He even recognizes that he’s a jerk at times because he also thinks “I am not the nice person that you think I am Sigrid” and even then he acts so petty. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE PETTY

I get that in his situation he’s never had proper love from his family and that he never found his place in life until after Sigrid encouraged him to step out from his struggles but you have no right to act this way. You start to manipulate and pressure her into thinking she shouldn’t be with her man. You are literally acting like a home wrecker. I don’t care it’s a contract dating situation, it’s still a relationship that you have no say in.

I get tired and sick whenever I see him show up because I know it’s just going to be him moping and complaining about not being chosen. Truly waisted potential in a character. I get most stories have second leads etc. but I feel like it was unnecessary. It would have been good if the romantic conflict was just Sigrid being confused about her emotions and learning to grow comfortable with herself as a person. The main aspect of the story I loved was her struggling to change and learn how to love for herself. There was so much potential to make the story about her learning to love another person and to open up emotionally to them. There doesn’t need to be another potential love interest (who I wouldn’t even consider a love interest) that just makes her confused and insecure.

Besides this change in Morris and the direction of her relationship with him, I really enjoy this story. Love love love all the other characters and how the plot is playing out. Sorry for the long rant (=・ω・=)
