My thoughts

This is like the Barbie movie in the sense that many people's expectations for the Barbie movie were for it to be this hyper-feministic movie and solely focused on Barbie but it ended up being like "yay women but men have feelings too". Like there was more focus on the men in the story than expected.
The reason I compare the movie to this manga is because even in the story it started out with protecting women from misogyny and fighting male dominance but it ended up as men don't want to be villains.
I just think this plot twist could've worked better but in what we have it was poorly executed. What threw me off the list was how at the end all the boys were like "I never wanted to be mean to the girls, and physically and sexually abuse, it was forced onto me." Which I do agree with as a reflection of society today. But it just ended without properly dealing with the consequences of their actions. Another comment said it liek the men in the story had one little breakdown after losing and suddenly they were just forgiven? That's what bothered me the most of this manga.

TL;DR
Manga had heavy themes but covered it up with rainbows, sparkles, and the power of friendship making it badly written.
