I see where you’re coming from but to be honest if I were them who didn’t know of his abusive nature, all I would’ve seen was this girl cheating on my brother/friend with her brother. I would’ve asked her to explain herself not from a place of love or understanding but from a place of anger on behalf of Izek although I’m not in the right bc Ruby is clearly a victim here which I know bc I have seen that side.

It really just depends on what they actually saw. Like the guys and freya, if all I saw was her kissing her brother and didn’t know about the abuse or the eating disorder, I’d assume (heavy on the assume bc it could be something else as it is here) ruby and cesare had a romantic relationship.

That’s the thing. I’m not sure they saw her being stiff bc I can’t tell at what point they saw the kiss and if they saw fear on her face they probably think she was scared because she was caught. Only Ellen has a close relationship with ruby which is why the way she reacted was not as bad as the others who are practically strangers to ruby.
freya is indeed very annoying dont get me wrong, the way she ran to izek immidiately but i am more mad at ellen, ivan and blue haired guy for not doing anything or even asking ruby herself what exactly happened. They just think whatever floats their boat without even asking the victim herself what happened. That even more evil than freya trying to snitch because izek will not believe her nonetheless
