WELL ig my thread got deleted so I'll shit up yours instead.
"anyone reading this should assume murder (and torture by association) is part of the story anyway since it’s in title" it's YAOI which is a genre that is incredibly notorious for having a LOT of rape/rapey content! ESPECIALLY in a story with dark themes, you can pretty much assume rape or dubcon type shit is coming. If you are that easily triggered, perhaps switch to BL or consider the themes of a story before reading.

I don't understand what you’re saying. Your statement in the comment you blocked me from was that you were trying to understand why they bothered putting up trigger warnings for rape and not murder and torture. I gave you an answer. Whether you agree with it or not, the answer is the answer. I’m not actually trying to debate it further. Have a nice day.

Yeah, still hate when people do that. It’s like they can’t handle someone saying something they don’t align with or they’d rather not debate anything at the risk of making themselves look bad. I like having healthy discussions so being blocked in the middle of that always irked me. I figured a way around that by posting my own comment and tagging the person involved, even if they don’t see it . I prefer to let people come at me until I’m tired of talking to them because I still won’t block them.
Lol, @peepee-drinker blocked me for some obscure reason (3 comments below), but he had a bunch of questions about why there’s a trigger warning for r*ape and not murder and torture. Im pasting my answer here because I’ve learned to always copy my comments before posting on this site:
Its not about what’s “fine.” It’s about the fact that it doesn’t tend to trigger people who read these. Not only that, but anyone reading this should assume murder (and torture by association) is part of the story anyway since it’s in title and on the cover, with one of the leads holding a gun. It’s not an unforeseen, out of the blue trigger like rape or suicide.
