When it comes to this story I don’t really pay too much kind to the incest. Mind you, that’s a bit NO for me. However because of the type of story this is and its setting. It doesn’t really get to me, at first it did but then I thought about how this actually happened. During those times and way back in the day, incest was a thing. I’m not defending incest as it is disgusting and no one should be developing feelings or trying to have a romantic relationship with their family members. But because of the time period of this story in particular I am able to keep on reading. If anything Seth being sexually assaulted left and right is what made stop reading this for a while.

Since it's about supernatural beings, I don't even think about it (incest). The assaults on Seth are rough, though. I do not find that shit titillating. I honestly felt like the whole slave market plot was just an excuse to show him off in body jewelry. Like the author was objectifying him themselves.

And if i’m not wrong also the stories about The Egyptian gods were also brother to each other… something like that and doing suns and daughters… so from that point of view…
For this I tried to understand the conflicts between seth/ horus/ anubis… but this is a story that only the author knows… and I can’t wait to see what will happen
The only way to read this is to pretend they are not family and be ready to skip a lot of chapters if u are a Seth fan bc as a person who’s only reading this for Seth I am stresseddd
