Trauma response is an explanation, not an excuse. “I’ve been hurt/I hurt the most so I can hurt others” is not valid and completely disregards the people who are hurt by such responses. A sad past doesn’t excuse current shitty behavior.
It’s not valid? I don’t think you understand trauma responses and defense mechanics very much. It doesn’t excuse it yes but that person knows that but they also cannot help reacting that way. It’s quite obvious he has never gone and sought help and even realized how destructive his behaviour is. Anyways I’m done here don’t bother replying because u won’t understand.
Yeah I get him, he's mentally unhealthy right now, but for the seme , there's only so much a person can take. The seme is not a therapist so I wish he'd give his own self some consideration and value. He's human too n could reach limits, atp he should back off a bit, wait n see first. Afterall, it's true that trauma matters but it's not like seme's hurt self n feelings don't matter. But yes as u said not gonna happen.
Either the seme are pushy assholes or in so many stories like these they're straight up doormats lol. Feels like there's hardly any in between(s). Very little.
I sympathize with his past, but he’s self-sabotaging AND trampling all over the seme’s feelings. He gives the man 0 consideration and even knows the way he treats seme hurts him. This isn’t a lack of communication, this is actively ignoring any attempts to communicate and lashing out at the person who tries. This crossed the line from trauma response meant to protect, and into a petty pity-party. Would love for the seme to fully give up on uke. Maybe give him a piece of his mind and a wake up call… but that isn’t going to happen. This is going the: the seme is a doormat and keeps coming back to uke until the uke eventually gets over himself.
