Why should he show loyalty to someone who doesn't even love him back. If anything I should also call out on Ines' love for him. Like I know there's a hidden 1st timeline so imagine knowing that they both loved each other and were each other's true love, but then after those two lives, SHE's the only one who even married other men and even have children with them.
