I agree with you that dreams change and is not a bad thing in itself that she choose to quit. What bother me is more than in the majority of mangas where this situation presents itself the choice is the female character chooses to quit for the sake of the relationship. But this 2 are really cute and she should choose whatever she wants , but it would be nice to start seeing more level expectation for fl an ml.

I'm not saying she should or shouldn't have quit, but just understand, as you go through life, you have to be ready to chase you dreams in a zig zag pattern and make some pit stops or go backwards occasionally.
