Lmao, right? I'm not a dohu apologist - cuz I don't think anything Dohu was doing was morally or ethically wrong in the first place so there was no need for apologies. You were just right all the way my friend. Literally, if Dohu was a real life person people either wouldn't give two shits what he was doing, or find it interesting. It's not like he copy and pasted the guy onto a story and drew him pregnant or something. It's like drawing a character based on inspiration from an actor or something - but you also end up meeting said actor and they start to like you. Yeah he got close to him at first to learn more, but like who in their right mind would do and say all the shit he says to J- (shit I forgot his name but I think it started with a j) only to be getting references. It's one thing to talk the guy and just jolt down notes, but another to go out of your way to talk to them like their a person, to comfort them, confront them, and laugh with them. J is a grown man with pretty good maturity, doubtful he's gonna go the petty route and say their relationship was all a lie when Dohu approached him because HE WAS INTERESTED IN HIS CHARACTER. cuz aside from the the need to write his novel/story, he still approached him first and foremost because he personally found him interesting. And I think that's a pretty great compliment in and of itself. Anyways, Dohu ftw and sorry for the rant. You brought alotta thoughts and emotions to mind from reading all the previous comments before.
As a Dohu apologist who used to fight for their life defending him in the comments, I felt so validated with the way he comforted the ml ╥﹏╥ he even opened up about his life. My man's really just a newbie at love and yet look at him, he's doing so good!!! He may not outright say that he loves the ml, might not even be aware it's love he's feeling, but his actions itself proves and shows that he has truly fallen in love. I'm really hoping that the ml holds on to what he's seen and experienced when sht inevitably hits the fan and it's revealed that he was used as a reference material. That regardless of how everything's started, the truth of the matter is what they have between them is love.
