I knew from the very beginning when his eyes glowed he was either a werewolf or vamp. Thats why I was so confused about the tags since it wasn't tagged fantasy anywhere. And I figured those bites would make him calm with the situation too cause tbh if I had a spot somewhere that pulsed every time something happened between me and another person, only them, and id lost my conscious memories, I'd be like "hmm....yea my subconscious knows there's some shit going on" cause you cant actually lose memory so much as your brain stores it in a different we'll say "file cabinet" of you recollection. And if you "library" is extensive as everyone's is, some of those memories basically go to the back of it as if it's infinitely long so it ends up collecting dust. Thus why you can dream things youve consciously forgotten cause your REM cycles are still able to bring forth those old memories. Point is, I think his reaction is justified lmao
