Usually I get drawn in by the cover art, and if I don’t like the art from the beginning I probably won’t continue.

I did simply because the art style changed drastically I didn't even look back at it once and deleted from reading because I'll never read that again
That’s true. Sometimes it’s like all the effort went to the cover.
There have been series where the art changes half way, but I won’t drop it at that point.
For example, I think the art of Half of Me has changed, and I’m not really liking ML’s new design, I feel his face is too angular now.
I check the art style before reading especially if the characters chins are abnormally pointy I cannot read it lmaoooo idky
Well for me it is complicated. My first priority is a good storyline. If you have a good story, plot & characters, I can overlook the art. But there are exception where the stories were so bad but the art stopped me from dropping them.

no, i dropped a story purely because the story or the characters are bad. but back then i do ignore some stories because i thought thecover wasn't attractive enough. and man, i learnt through a hard way when i found out i missed a lot of good stories just because the art huhuu
True, I only used to read only Korean manhwas because they usually have colours. But luckily one day I decided to give a chance to a manga and rest is history..... .
I tried to read roses and champagne b/c people said it was like codename Anastasia but the art made me drop it without even getting to dialogue
