I was kind of hoping for him to turn on him in the end— a revenge story but I guess not. I don’t feel like the mc has enough bite, he may feel he also became a perpetrator but he’s wrong, he’s still a victim and he only accepted his situation in the end. Thats how i see it anyways. I do enjoy toxic stories time to time but its no fun when only one of them is the toxic one.
