If it makes you feel any better he gets his memory back when they fall in the frozen lake and the side stories give us some foresight into their dynamic before he got his memory back and will continue from then on

Really unforgivable! Even if I try to reason out that Jooha losing his memory is a good thing, at the back of my mind, I always think, "This could have had a better ending!" THIS SUCKS. The climax to the end went downhill—another waste of talent. Even the side stories. Ugh.
