The point is... from experience the plot is good... for now. Because at some point mc usually gets too involved with those girls problems (the abusive fire mother, the fallen family, and whatever they make for the "game mc") and the good plot becomes a subplot. Fortunately for now they aren't annoying and there's no fanservice.
If it keeps this way it's good.
