Honestly it could go either way, I mean much of his attitude is if he doesn’t see the reason to put into the work he won’t do it. Like he sees this as helping his relationship so he’s very gung-ho about studying as hard as he can. He’s probably one of the “I’ll put In enough effort and willpower to get things done” well or at least that was his attitude when dealing with his heats. And even though the side effects are bad in his own body from trying lots of heat meds he’s still willing to try for their sake
So I'm not sure if he passed because of Megumi's father or if it's because he actually tried for once. I mean both Tsugumi's parents are super smart right? Either way he's going to have to try in school now to keep enrolled.
