I agree in general age gaps or time travel or reincarnated type manhwa is weird to me and kinda icky. I know people have preferences and stuff and that's great but I think it's nasty when you are with someone who you have seen grow up and you are like 10 plus years older than them, maybe it's just me but I find it nasty it doesn't matter how old you are when you got together you watched that person grow up since they were a child
Yeah. For me the reincarnation trope is 50/50. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s got the unfortunate “grooming but not really” type because while the person did know them in their past life when they were of age, they’re now a child in the new one. Especially if the other person is immortal which is really common in reincarnation, and that’s where it gets tricky.
Yeah, for the immoral part it could be tricky and I don't really see a problem with it perse but when the immoral gets together with the partner when the partner is still a teen then it's a no no for me but if they get together when the partner is a fully grown adult then I see no problem (adult meaning 20s because some manhwa adult means like 15/16 for girls.). (Also mangago deleted like 90% of my comment sorry if it didn't make sense but I was say if they were transported/reincarnated into the child's body when they were already a full grown adult and they still have that mentality and the memories it adds more to the ick) Y
It’s ok I was able to understand haha. yeah and that’s why I was a bit confused by this story since I was only going off by what I say. “Step son finds his young step mom hot” usually artists don’t draw older women who look their age but the men always do so lol yeah that’s on me for assuming she was much older than I thought. I still don’t like the whole “step mother x step son” thing since legally speaking, that’s the mls mother and that’s something that even if I try to ignore I can’t. And that’s besides the reincarnation plot that’s also added into it. Not sure why it’s wrong it’s wrong for me to say that i personally don’t like a part of the trope.
this is the third pseudo-incest manhwa I’ve seen this week. I wouldn’t mind seeing age gap as long as it’s not too big but if the fl met the ml was a minor then yeah it’ll fall into the whole “raising my husband” trope and that’s a no-no for me. I hate how pretty the art is
