So the details are a bit fuzzy but it starts with the main character traveling to the beach somewhere and then there's a flashback and it's about this friend he had who can erase people's memories?/has power of telepathy? and this friend ordered the mc to forget him but he didn't and they meet at said beach, it's only a few chapters.
