Calling your argument valid doesn't make it valid lmao. People can engage with fiction but be critical about the author's or character's choices. If you can't understand that then you have some serious parasocial tendencies towards your fiction.

No one ever said that abuse is ok.. This story and Its characters are complex. This ain't your classic lovey dovey story, you can read a lot of them. The characters are flawed and have their own reasons for doing what they are doing (being it bad or good). Thats why the story at least to me is rly interesting.. to see how and If those characters can grow and reedem themselves

And what drove her to suicide was her realisation of how fucked up her parents were and how much she'd never be able to redeem herself or her family not matter what she does. And she didn't have a support to lean on, which should have been her husband, but coming from the extreme torturous life he led, he couldn't cater the idea that someone as blessed as her could be depressed or this weak to endure such things. Y'all need to tone down the drama it's embarrassing atp. It's just fiction, it's not that deep.
