I read the novel and I literally have no idea why she took it off. I don't think it's in the novel because I do not remember it happening at all!

there's actually nothing about it in the novel. i think it's just the author drew it like that for the scene. Ms. Song actually one of the few people who know about them and help + support them.

Thank God. I was afraid cuz she indeed seemed the one who'll support them the best and that scene was screaming 'plot twist'.
