After reading

After reading "A Flowery Path for the Devastated Male Lead" I must say I prefer much more the FL there than this one...
Hestia already died in her own world but still thinks she can go back, even after going back in time in the world she's in now... Make it make sense! For me that's the biggest plot hole EVER in this story... In the novel it was already annoying, but in the manhwa version is much worse...
Besides... We're already on the 89th chapter and there's close to ZERO grown into the characters... Only Kael and Helios had some grown... Even Hestia has zero grown and shows no affection at all to Kael... In "A Flowery..." even though the FL also behaves like a fanatic towards the ML, you can still see the love and affection she has towards him... But with Hestia you just can't see anything close to that... For Hestia Kael is simply an obsessive mission she has to complete in order to not have any more regrets... Meaning no love shown at all... I feel sorry for Kael though, he deserves better...

I read the novel a long time ago, but I dont remember anything about her dying in her other life, and i thought that's why she was so confused about how and when is she going back,
and i dont know why but here they make Kael more affective, in the novel he's damn cold, when Heli was starting to have feelings for Hess
and make it obvious, is when Kael start to change, i mean i really like Kael but here they make him more human xD
but i agree with you, Hess is really cool but its frustrating how she was always in denying of the ML feelings.. just like in other novels, makes me want to iseki too just to tell them they are the new FL (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

If I remember right and am not mistaking stories, Hestia mentioned sometime in the beginning about an accident or smt... The author didn't really mentioned the word "dead", but most people would think they're dead after that...
But again, there's a lot of lacking in detail with this book and I agree with you that Kael is much better here than in the novel...

I think the author tried to go against the common plot where whoever isekai is automatically dead and acceptable of the situation, but she didn't know how to make a balance between the both nor tried to make it clear what exactly is the plot...
