I doubt you can obtain the same character since based on what the chapters have said so far, the heros are people who have previously died meaning, you can't obtain the same person twice.
Can't say for sure, but I would bet there will be a way to increase his star rank though, and if not I'm sure they'll find a way to glitch the system to "increase" it some how ( ^ ^)r゛゛
this is a word where magic exists including dark magic. not to mention the gacha system is basically a revival/puppet magic. if it's possible now it was def possible back then
i also thought it would be impossible to summon the same hero twice but why did the new guy mention he didnt think he would still be summoned all these years later
Pretty sure each hero is unique so only one person can have them at a time, but they can be summoned by a new individual if their previous summoner cut off the hero’s mana supply.
so what about the beheaded heroes? their heads are there but there bodies disappear its rlly weird
When a hero’s mana supply is cut off by the summoner, they can no longer regenerate, and the essence of heroes’ are in their heads. This allows for people to cut below a hero’s neck and have everything but the head disappear since the body would no longer have essence flowing.
About my previous point, I think the heroes need to die for them to be sent back to the summoning pool so just having their mana supply cut off is not enough. I do not really know how they would die unless the summoner is killed or their essence disappears.
All this will probably be explained more in the later chapters so ig I’ll wait.

since this is a game or like built like a game. and blondie is only 2 stars could it be possible to ascend chapters changing their rank? or even gaining the same character again but a different rank like how it works in some gacha games
