Definitely an…interesting relationship. My initial reaction was…why, but the more I think about it, it seems this couple is an extreme version of the main one. The seme is so overprotective that it became obsession, honestly he keeps the uke like a fucking pet, kinda like what the Yoo-won wants to do with Yoo-il. The uke has extreme abandonment issues, kinda like Yoo-il, and plays on the seme’s overprotectiveness to keep him close. Yoo-il doesn’t do this but maybe he might since at the moment he’s pretty oblivious to how possessive Yoo-won is of him, but what if something threatens their relationship that could make Yoo-won hate him (in his mind), he might try to keep him with him with some manipulation.
I might be looking way too deep into this basically parental, creepy as hell, fucked up relationship or overestimating a BL author’s writing skills, mostly cuz I like the main story, but who knows! Maybe the main couple will go through something similar and HOPEFULLY not do this, they might come close though.
I hope I justified some reading of this for main story readers, that story is also a bit fucked up but definitely not to THIS extent. :)
