By committing suicide, Ines causes her own regression. Also, Carcel never wished for her to be with someone else. The only way they would meet is if the manhwa changed the story if they dare. There are so,if reasons why the novel author wrote it so they never met. From the beginning, Ines was determined never to meet him again and she stuck to it. She almost died from just seeing the fake pendant. She has no desire to repeat her mistakes. Ep73 even has her repeating that she thought she needed to live to die so that she can finally die properly without making any more mistakes. It’s Carcel who chanted her mind. Now she wants to live with him for a long time then rest with him in the grave. For the manhwa to change the story, they undermine a lot of Ines’s reasons and determination. This is a thoroughly well thought out story by the author.

Yes, there is a reason why he left the necklace but it is not a flattering one. In terms of plot, you will see why the author wrote he left the pendant. Who is the one pursuing the pendant right now? Ines? Has Ines even gone back to the store to look for the pendant? No. That’s because the very morning that Ines woke up from her near death experience, she reaffirmed her determination to live a peaceful and quiet life without making anymore mistakes.
