SPOILER it's been years since i read the novel i can't even remember if perez and ramona were really in love in tia's previous life. what i do remember clearly is that there was a special chapter of perez in that universe where he didn't meet tia where he was lonely even after taking the throne, like there was still something missing in his life but he doesn't know what it is
