I understand the fl situation is really pitiful, but the one she impersonated is an abuser. Yes, she has a dark past but it doesn't erase the trauma her victim has gone through. Their relationship probably will always be toxic and with unbalanced power dynamics, if Magnus don't take control, even with Lyna not actively abusing him, his memories and trauma will hold him hostage making him submit like before.

    Him forgiving illyana would be quite bad was what i meant, even if she never comes back, it's still her body and magnus doesn't know it's not her maybe he just suspect something's wrong.
