The ml has very strong pheromones but a terrible sense of smell. He can’t really tell the smell of omega pheromones. What he hates is how easily omegas give in and react bc of his pheromones (but he’s pent up and needs to relieve that with an omega).
On the other hand, the mc is quite tolerant to other’s pheromones, also his are quite weak, which makes it easy to take two jobs involving pheromone resistance. Tho he started feeling the ml’s pheromones getting stronger and blondie came up with the idea of pheromone shower/care in which an alpha marks his scent on an omega without being bonded, with the condition that they both consent and have enough trust on each other

Reread chapter 1 and he actually has a medical condition where he can’t sense omega pheromones at all. It’s somewhat of a psychological problem since he couldn’t bear the pressure his family put him under.
The fact that the seme can smell other omega’s pheromones and that blondie can smell the uke’s, why can’t the seme smell the uke’s pheromones during the ‘therapy’ sessions? Logically speaking, he should be able to since the blondie can smell it from the uke. That way, the seme would know that his therapist is his own assistant.
