Exactly, there is no development yet they need to enter a stable friend zone at least, but the author only just made developments on the MLS personality and his personal perspective towards mc. It makes sense for this to happen but there no logical way at this point shout the author to even try to tell us or have a chart that suggests there's a 'maybe' situation between them(like no shit he's the dude on the cover, but things haven't even gone that far). I haven't seen a 'maybe' panel suggesting
Suggesting a possible connection between them and honestly I'm just glad that the house servants didn't misunderstand him kissing her hand, and didn't play the cliche role of other story characters fostering and nurturing the characters relationship. (Solely due to the misunderstandings and suggested situations the main couple is put in.) Without the male lead putting in any work, and never even having an inner monologue shown of him expressing how he truly feels even scarcely through the story. Thank goodness the male lead isn't as bad as the male lead in High Society where he mistreats the MC but failed to apologize. Thankfully he seemed to be apologetic in the aftermath, even inviting her to be his family. Of course this would be the platonic relationship invitation which would lead into closer relations and romance, but the author is forgetting that we already saw him aiming his sword at her multiple times (and that's if we want to forget all the 'I just don't like you' moments between them). Because if everyone seriously thinks it's normal to forget someone was gonna basically slice you TF up, for apparently more reasons than just standard protection purposes, they wild asf.
The Ml from High Society is just like the Ml from Betrayal of Dignity, I hate Mls like that, they are just trash and everyone knows it, this Ml will probably get better when he actually starts to like her, he didnt even seem to realise the double meaning when he was talking about being her family, his arrow pointing to 'love' already is weird. And the girl just looks like a fool if she already fell for someone who is constantly being aggressive and even pointing a sword at her, even before he said sorry that he was jealous of her power and the kiss in her hand (I still dont like him even after that)...
How could there be a diagram of arrows showing possible love connection, those two have not had single scene that seems romantic or really personally platonic, he doesn't even like and barely just started tolerating her, you're being unrealistic.
