i agree with it being good fortune. also i think it mainly has to do with MC making the wish a reality(vocalizing it or thinking it clearly in her head) because each time it’s after she says/thinks “you will accomplish this” that it becomes real. so in turn i think what made her seem “cursed” or unfortunate in the beginning is that she kept saying to herself “i can’t do this/im unlucky” etc. which became a reality because of her powers
Maybe she was telling herself but it's in major party cause her family was cursing her so it waa limit brainwashing. So of course she was sure she was unlucky without talent....
Lol, MC real power is bringing good luck to everyone she loves or care about (I strongly think so). My hypothesis is, it's not necessarily for her to stay with them, as long as she cares for them or wish something good for them, it will eventually happened one way or another. MC didn't lives with Mary the maid, but she got lucky with gold coin when MC wish Mary found gold coin. She also asked her ex fiance to pick up sword, and then he found his swordsmanship.
Also, the family started falling apart when MC no longer loves them. Lol.
It's the parents fault tho. They thought Diana was bringing good luck and severely neglected MC. Parents are humans so I understand they want to idolize the kid who they thought bringing good luck, but it soooo unnecessary for them to be cruel to MC. Let say they want to spoil Diana, then so be it. What it is for them to teach the other children to be disrespectful to their elder sister? To feel ashamed just because she "wasn't useful".
I hope the blonde girl is someone powerful who will help MC kick Leroy family lol
