I've been trying to coin a genre for this like cutesy dark, cute until you squint, dark fluff, something like that. This is one of my faves, I've read it maybe 4 or 5 times haha and that creepy cuteness is one of the things I love about it. It's like an angler fish luring you in with a false sense of fluff until you get close enough to see beyond the pretty light lol

Thiiiiis. I read this after my brain was done, so it never sat right with me how they started. I say this because when I started reading yaoi, a lot of it was like this, vvv grapey and manipulative, and I never once clocked it. I can’t even read the first chapters because of it. It just gives me too much of an ick ╥﹏╥
Didn't we find out it he wasn't forced later in the story though or am I trippin? I completely get not liking the beginning though because he looks very uncomfortable with the ml

I've already read this and re-reading it again. Back then I loved this story but it still doesn't feel right to label this story as "cute" or "wholesome" coz 1. Hosik didn't agree to have sex, 2. His life basically turned upside down due to the pregnancy and 3. The ml keeps manipulating him into doing sexual stuff especially at the start of this story (like making hosik give him blow jobs so that hosik could get back his clothes and leave). The way this manhwa is light-heartedly written makes us feel like these are not red flags but they are.
