Idk, it might be blind faith on my part but I really do hope he gets his powers and kills them off one by one to eat their mana.the last guy can live and watch his entire world and reason for existence wither away due to his own actions. That would be fitting punishment.
It def won't be the end of cliff but I'm not sure we'll see him in that world. I'm also confident we'll get an arch where mc enters a rift back to his original dimesiom (or that's what I'd do at least if I was the author) but yeah maybe this really does get relegated to senseless porn with zero plot. Which is a shame, cause I love the concept of dimensional rifts.
