yeah, he already knows he's dying to the black liquid thing, so after the duke gets the queen to harm and make the prince blind, abel picks him up and run into the forest thinking that only the king can enter there and (will) save them, but the duke sets the whole forest on fire. abel explains everything to the prince (kinda saying goodbye) then die seated by the wishing pit with the prince on his arms （/TДT)/
