I get why Song Unak massacred his wife and everybody in the mansion. It must felt awful, when he get known that the wife whom he gradually became his beloved still used him, plus the humiliatin from the emperor just made him half crazy. I wouldn't have any problem with him if he stop tehre, but he massacred MC's family and his whole sect just because ML lived there. This is where he went too far.
