right i feel like a lot of people who knows what a good writing looks like know this story has a really good writing. the topic of the said story however, might be debatable. for me it's pretty hard to find a good new yaoi webtoon recently so i am curious where this is going.
I feel that too. I too defend the top in spite of what he does. The top can easily switch between a cruel sex partner to a stern yet reliable boss, after the whip come the carrot/candy.
i have seen a lot of bdsm story but my least favorite genre of it is "grooming" the uke into liking (or at least endure) bdsm. and a lot of the session happen without uke's consent. and bdsm without the other person' consent is just abuse.
unfortunately i like the way the author write this story. the pacing is great, the plot seems okay, and also the development is good. it's really scary to see this type of "violence" bcs usually yaoi authors made the seme just downright asshole, abusive, toxic, it's so easy to hate them but this one? this is one of the cruelest seme i've seen but in some chapter i caught myself thinking "i think he's not that bad". that's kinda scary to me.
