Do you know how to get into the first chapter? I've never really read novels before and I'm so confused because the only thing I can click into is the group that released the chapter but not the actual chapters ( ；∀；)

i think novelupdates is just a website to update u on novels + novel status

Once you've signed up you have to click on the chapter and it'll take you to the website where you can read the novel from
