There's no longer any talks of their deal or whatever, and I think that now that Kojima has closure he wants to live again.

He was just scared of ruining Daimon's future when he ran away this last time 'cause he still considered himself undeserving of love and a murderer I think. He obviously still believed in Daimon tho considering he didn't try very hard to hide his plans lol
