Take it with grain of salt since it's been a while since I read the novel but if I remember correctly Yvonne is already dead and her soul is trapped in the mirror. She was mentally tortured by the evil goddess (the one possessing Yvonne's body) and Penelope will meet Yvonne's soul in the after story and help her pass on. Yvonne just like Penelope will get a notification which Penelope figured that it was asking her if she wanted to be reincarnated and start a new life and she'll pick yes and that's how Yvonne's story ends. She was just a pitifull character who lost her family, life and everything because of the evil goddess

Damn, this book does so well making you second guess the ML. Like there are some shes closer with than others and some you know aren't ever gunna be the ML, but it was being pretty neck and neck
I already know what's going to happen next cuz I already read the novel, but it still fcking hurts seeing their expression like this first hand
The truth is Penelope already love him and Callisto love her too. And because Penelope love Callisto she doesn't want to ruin the original story of Callisto being an emperor cuz she knows that's always been his dream, while Callisto didn't want to acknowledge his feelings as love because he was scared that if he love her what happened to her mother might happen to her too, But soon don't worry they'll confess to each other, and Callisto even disregarded being an emperor but Penelope made Callisto promise her that he'll be the emperor, then Penelope told him that she's from another world, so even though Callisto know that helping Penelope would mean that she would go back, he still help her, it hurts like biatch and all that happened after smooch all over the place
