Maybe its due to Celphi getting their blood that she didnt want to stay. But man its still not an excuse. ╥﹏╥
In the novel we don't meet her for long. It doesn't tell us that she really loved her husband and was devasted when he died and couldn't stand to see Celphi suffer.
She thinks they're murderers/demons regardless of the fact that having poison blood is not their fault. So yeah I don't think she really loved her husband and she holds no affection for Celphi.

I reed a spoiler that’s say She loved her husband so when he died she hated them and the curse and left, and now she’s back to try convince pereshati to escape them.
She shouldn’t left her son but I guess she took the death of her husband pretty bad?
